SDNP is proud to introduce the inaugural Emerging Scholar Program. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to empower and accelerate the careers of early-career dermatology NPs with 0-5 years’ experience.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered as an SDNP Emerging Scholar, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Both members and non-members can apply
  • Currently working within their first five (5) years as a practicing DermNP
  • Be able to attend the SDNP National Conference in Indian Wells, CA, May 1-3, which includes the pre-conference workshop on May 1. 

Conference attendance 

  • Candidates are required to attend the Emerging Scholars meeting on May 1st and the full SDNP National Conference May 2 & 3.   

Selected Emerging Scholars will receive:

  • An invitation to the pre-conference educational session on May 1st. 
  • A unique professional development experience where you’ll engage with distinguished lecturers.
  • The SDNP will provide three (3) nights at the conference hotel.
  • Complimentary conference registration.  
  • Access to all conference sessions (earn your CME/CE credits).
  • All meals and networking events.
  • Recognition at the SDNP Johnson & Johnson Welcome Reception, May 2nd.  
  • Acknowledgement in conference digital materials. 
  • SDNP Emerging Scholar Certificate
